Bangladeshi Esports athlete and Street Fighter 6 giant M Saiful Islam Anik has qualified for the main stage of Capcom Cup 11. Anik will be representing Bangladesh on the global stage of the premier Street Fight 6 tournament held by Capcom.
In order to reach the main stage, Anik had to conquer the CPT 2024 World Warrior: Asia South regional qualifiers first. In both the regional qualifiers and regional finals, Anik came in first place, dominating players from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka. He beat fellow Bangladeshi “Baadshah_Miya” in the last round to confirm his ticket to Capcom Cup 11.
The main stage of the tournament will kick off on March 05, 2025 and will continue until March 08. The rounds will take place at the Ryogoku Kokugikan National Sumo Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
As Anik embarks on his journey to etch his name into the history books, he says, "Representing my country on the international stage feels like a big achievement. I am hoping for a good sponsor so that I can attend all major international tournaments.”
