In an expected turn of events, Bangladeshi teams dominated the regional seed event for South Asia in the 2025 Honor of Kings Esports Circuit, known as the Open Series Split 3. The open series is created for amateur teams to climb up the ranks and get chances to compete in regional leagues.

Hosted from 18th to 23rd February 2025, HoK Open Series Split 3 - South Asia featured 11 teams from Bangladesh, 2 from Pakistan, 1 from Srilanka and 1 from Nepal. Hence, having the higher chance of qualifying two Bangladeshi teams faced off in the Grand Finals of this series that also has a 1000$ Prizepool (~ 121,000 BDT) split between Champions (700$) and the Runners Up (300$). Despite the chances, it is good news for Bangladesh Esports Fans. Coffin Makers Force, known as CMF Esports and Team Unleash Sword will play against each other on Bangladesh Time 17:00 (5 PM) where Team Unleash Sword won 3-1 over CMF Esports. Desolation from Bangladesh and The Order from Nepal gain 3rd and 4th position respectively.

As Champions, Unleash Sword has secured a slot in the newest regional league introduced to the HoK 2025 Roadmap, the HoK Major East Spring 2025 which will be held in between June-July. There is a high possibility that Major East could work as a seed to the HoK x EWC Midseason Tournament like last time as EWC2025 is set for August and also has Honor Of Kings in its roster.
