Bangladeshi eFootball fans, rejoice! Konami’s beloved sports simulator, previously known as PES, has now added the option to choose Bangladesh as your home side.

In order to don Bangladesh’s colours in the game, players need to follow some simple steps. Firstly, from the game plan menu, the base team settings must be altered. From there, you must choose the Asia continent and scroll down all the way to the ‘National’ option from the menu. From there, Bangladesh can be chosen as the base team.

After choosing to play as our motherland, the home and away kits can be viewed. The 1st kit follows our national team’s classic stripes, with a solid green jersey and white shorts, while the 2nd kit is all red with green accents running down the shoulder area.

However, there also exists a major caveat with this feature. While the option to play as Bangladesh has been added, our national players are still not part of the game’s database. As a result, you are given a randomly generated squad of players who are not from Bangladeshi origin.

Our national team’s inclusion in the globally popular game is a positive and welcome change. We can hope that we will someday see our players representing the country as well on this stage.
