DOTA 2 and CS2 memorial tournament to be held next month in honour of Raahib "Animal" Reza

In a heartfelt tribute to one of Bangladesh's most loved esports players, Amit Richard, Owner of The Covenant Esports, has announced "Legacy Deciphered: Echoes of Raahib 'Animal' Reza (Season 1)." The tournament is dedicated to celebrating the life and achievements of Raahib "Animal" Raahib ReZa, a person who left a profound impact in the local Esports scene with his passion and hard work.

Raahib, also known as "Animal" and "Deciphered," was a team leader of DOTA 2 giants, The Council. He was also an organising secretary of Bangladesh Youth Development and Electronic Sports Association (BYDESA). He was not just a skilled gamer, but also someone who inspired others and helped build a strong gaming community in the country.

To honor him, the tribute event will feature the games he loved most: Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2. The online qualifiers will start on February 1, 2025 while the Grand Finale will be held in-person on February 19, Raahib’s first death anniversary.

The grand finals will be a distinguished event, honoring Raahib’s legacy by uniting players from across the nation to celebrate his profound contributions to the esports community. This tournament is not just a competition but a heartfelt recognition of his dedication, passion, and the positive influence he had on countless lives.
