Bangladesh is geared up for the exciting LAN Finale of the International Esports Event, Open Esports Student Games 2024, also known as OXY 2024, to be held at the Bolshoi Sports Palace in the Olympic Park in Sochi, Russia from 22nd to the 25th of October. Team Bangladesh has already touched down in Russia earlier this week and updates from the official Facebook page of BYDESA indicate that they are ready for the fight.
The Team Bangladesh lineup is composed of Faisal Arman Anik (Hiraeth), Mohammed Sayakh Altaf (Senpai), Imtiaj Ahmed Rohan (WindTouch), Anjum Ferdous Utsho (copycat), and MD. Rafee Alam (Zet^). The 5-man-team qualified from the South Asian Qualifier to the Final Event alongside India and Nepal.
The groups for the group stage of Open Esports Student Games 2024 Finals were drawn earlier today at the RuHab Studio. As per the draw, Team Bangladesh finds themselves in Group B alongside teams from India, Mongolia, Serbia, and the host Russia.

The event has two stages for now. The Russian Stage that is being held today, October 22, will determine the team representing the hosts in their reserved slot.
The actual International Stage will be the final round. On October 23, proceedings will kick off with the group stage. On October 24, the rest of the group stage and the playoffs will be held. The crowning match, otherwise known as the LAN Grand Finale, is set to take place on October 25.
