The Road to IESF is a series of qualifier tournaments leading up to the International Esports Federation's World Esports Championship (WEC). The WEC is an annual esports tournament featuring national teams from around the world. The specific games featured in the Road to IESF can vary depending on the year.
There are two main ways to qualify for the WEC through the Road to IESF
- National Qualifiers: These tournaments are held in individual IESF member countries. The winner of each national qualifier will move on to the WEC.
- Regional Qualifiers: These tournaments are held in specific regions of the world. The top teams from each regional qualifier will move on to the WEC.
This year’s Bangladesh Road to IESF was organized by Bangladesh Youth Development & Electronic Sports Associations. This event was held from the 10th of May to the 12th and it concluded with crowning ‘MercwithD_’ as their eFootball champion.
With the conclusion of this year's efootball Road to IESF, MercwithD_ will triumphantly represent Bangladesh in the IESF- International Esports Federation World Esports Championship 2024.
