After a seven-year-long hiatus, Linkin Park have been back in business since earlier this month. Earlier today, the band announced that they’re collaborating with Riot Games and League of Legends for the theme song of LoL Worlds 2024.

The theme song is set to be named “Heavy is the Crown,” a single from LP's upcoming album "From Zero". The single will be aired tomorrow at 9:00 PM Bangladesh time alongside a music video.

Interestingly enough, Linkin Park has already performed the song live once. As part of their From Zero world tour, they took to the stage in Hamburg, Germany last night (September 22) and debuted "Heavy is the Crown". As seen in certain fans’ clips, the song kicks off with a heavy riff and is quickly followed by a classic rap verse courtesy of Mike Shinoda. More notably, however, the song also features a lengthy, raspy, and gruelling scream by new vocalist Emily Armstrong.

The League of Legends World Championship 2024 will run from September 25 to November 02 and will feature a total prize pool worth more than 2 million USD. The tournament will kick off at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, Germany. For the Knockout Stage the event will move to the Adidas Arena in Paris, France and the Grand Finals will be played in the O2 Arena in London, England.
