Level Infinite, the publisher of the popular mobile MOBA Honor of Kings, has launched an ambitious new esports partnership program aimed at bolstering the game's global presence and competitive scene.
The initiative will support the growing ecosystem of Honor of Kings by collaborating with various esports organizations. To mark the beginning of this program, five teams have been granted direct invitations to compete in Season 2 of the Honor of Kings Invitational. Confirmed participants include Southeast Asia’s REX REGUM QEON, South America’s ISURUS, and Turkey’s FUT Esports. The final two teams will be announced on June 11th and 12th.
The comprehensive list of partner teams is set to be revealed at the Gamescom LATAM event, held from June 26th to 30th in São Paulo, Brazil. This roster will encompass teams from Europe, the Americas, and Asia, showcasing the truly global reach of Honor of Kings.
Partner teams will benefit from direct invitations to priority tournaments and receive promotional support through official Honor of Kings social media channels. This move is part of Honor of Kings' broader strategy to expand its esports footprint, which began in January 2024 with a $15 million (~£11.8 million) investment to host more tournaments and foster the game’s growth.
Level Infinite also announced Kuala Lumpur as the host city for the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2, featuring a $300,000 (~£236,121) prize pool. James Yang, Senior Director of Level Infinite Global Esports Centre, emphasized the importance of this program: “The Honor of Kings Partnership Program is a win-win way for us to support organizations that have shown a deep commitment to supporting the growth of Honor of Kings.”
