Tiger Nation has emerged victorious as Gen.G secures Pacific's ever first international trophy by defeating Team Heretics in a thrilling best-of-five series, bringing an end to the long trophy drought of the Asia-Pacific region and bringing a new era of perfect Valorant.

After falling short against Sentinels in the first international event, Masters Madrid, this year, Gen.G was highly motivated to defeat all of their opponents. And they did just that. They easily made it through the Swiss stage and dominated tournament favorites in the playoffs, including Fnatic and 100 Thieves. However, in order to win the Masters trophy, they had to defeat a resurgent Team Heretics, which had just defeated G2 to secure their spot in the grand finals. Unfortunately for Heretics, Gen.G was unstoppable. Right from the start, Gen.G seemed to have a strong understanding of Heretics’ playing style ultimately beating them 3-2.

In the end, Gen.G emerged victorious over Team Heretics, securing a well-deserved win in the Masters Shanghai event. With this triumph, Gen.G continued their impressive streak in the 2024 VCT season. This victory cements Gen.G's status as a powerhouse in the league and sets the stage for more thrilling matchups in the future.
