Red Bull Instalock, the all-women Valorant esports tournament, took place this weekend in London. After a number of hard-fought games, G2 Gozen came out on top as the champions. They beat their opponents Shopify Rebellion with a 3-1 victory in the final matchup, showcasing their dominance over the competitive women's Valorant landscape in the EMEA region.
This result sees G2 heading home with the coveted trophy and around 8,000 pounds in prize money too. The team is expected to be back in action at the Game Changers EMEA Stage 2 starting in late May.
The Red Bull Instalock tournament featured four of the top female rosters — G2 Gozen, GIANTX, Karmine Crop, and Shopify Rebellion — together under the same roof, battling it out for the prize pool of 15,000 pounds.
