For the first time FIFA and KONAMI have partnered for the FIFAe World Cup, as FIFA split ways with EA Sports this year. The 2024 edition of the tournament featured 18 nations in total and had both console and mobile segments in eFootball™.

The qualifiers were held in October and the Finals are set to be hosted from December 9th to December 12th at the SEF Arena in Boulevard City of Saudi Arabia's Capital, Riyadh as a part of the FIFAe Finals 2024 in Riyadh.

The console segment includes PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 while the mobile segment consists of Android and iOS devices. Out of the 18 nations, 7 Asian nations - India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea Republic, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Thailand will participate in this edition.

Despite Bangladesh having a huge eFootball Mobile Community, it was not included in this edition. Details from the Organised Esports Team of KONAMI have hinted that the next edition might have more participating nations.
