FaZe Clan yet again wins another Intel Extreme Masters, this time in Chengdu, just short of two years after achieving first place at Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice in 2022. The grand finale was between FaZe Clan and MOUZ, a German esports organisation whose history is well storied and widely successful.

The finale started with a match on Overpass, where FaZe Clan narrowly defeated MOUZ, thus gaining momentum that helped them dominate the next match on Nuke. As a result, they beat out MOUZ by a score of 2-0 and were crowned champions, thus gaining a second point in the race to Intel® Grand Slam V, winning $100,000 of the $250,000 total prize pool and earning a spot in the IEM Cologne Group Stage that’s to be held this summer.

The Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) is a series of international esports tournaments held in countries around the world.
