Esports World Cup ticket holders to get E-Visas, tickets start from 400 BDT only

In a bid to ease the entry process for foreign visitors, the Esports World Cup Foundation, KSA’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and KSA’s Ministry of Tourism has decided to offer electronic visas for all Esports World Cup Ticket Holders. Visitors can apply for the e-visa via Saudi’s web portal ksavisa.sa. This announcement comes 11 days ahead of the inaugural mega event which opens next week at Boulevard Riyadh City.

Esports World Cup tickets are sold game-wise and start at a measly 12 Riyals or 400 BDT (approx.) for certain games like Starcraft and Fortnite. Prices can go up to 20 Riyals or 650 BDT (approx.) for other segments. Alternatively, an All Access Pass priced at a starting price of 76 Riyals or 2500 BDT (approx.) allows entry to all games and segments. Holders of any of these tickets can apply for the 90-day, single entry visa at ksavisa web portal. Meanwhile, event tickets and passes can be purchased from webook. Over the course of 8 weeks from 6th July to 25th August, more than 1500 players from 500 Esports teams around the world will compete in 22 tournaments for a prize pool of more than 60 Million USD, the highest in history. The move and the event itself aligns with KSA’s National Gaming and Esports Strategy, launched by Saudi’s Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman.
