American esports organisation Cloud9 has announced its return to ‘Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege’ with its newest venture, Cloud9 Beastcoast, in collaboration with Beastcoast, another American esports team. Through their partnership, Cloud9 and Beastcoast will be teaming up in order to “support the best ‘Rainbow Six Siege’ team in North America after an incredible recent string of accomplishments.”
Cloud9 and Beastcoast have both worked together, with Cloud 9 acquiring Beastcoast's roster in 2018 and winning DreamHack Montreal that same year. By 2020, the team had shifted to the APAC region, winning the Korea Open and the APAC League Finals in 2020, as well as the APAC North Stage 1 title in 2021.
And now, with the joint team of Cloud9 Beastcoast, they will be aiming to replicate and hopefully surpass that success. And to start off, they will be competing next month in the Esports World Cup closed qualifier.
