Bangladeshi team The Covenant has been invited to participate in Season 7 of the TEC Showdown Series, a premier Valorant tournament organized by The Esports Club for the South Asia region. This tournament is open to players from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, and Maldives. The four invited teams — The Covenant, Shadow Frags, 120 FPS, and ZEROFRAGS.EXE — will be facing off against the best four teams from the tournament’s open qualifiers.

Covenant’s roster consists of MD. Tasnim ul “SpeX” Islam, Sadman “SnowFlex” Samin, Mahdi Iqbal “DeDli” Tanzim, Srabon Peter “MufinSenpai” Costa, MD. Feeda “son1c” Bennoor, and Samin “Babyboy” Samad. SpeX, the team’s controller, told The Daily Esports, “Our team was invited as the only Bangladeshi team in the top 8 standings of the Invite Division Premier in South Asia.”

The TEC Showdown Series is a recurring Valorant tournament, with this season being held from December 09 to December 23. It features a prize pool of 100,000 INR (141,000 BDT approx).
